Sticks

Sticks

This picture was taken in Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport. The new and modern airport sports almost all glass panes around the airport. These glass panes were supported by the stainless steel rods that interconnect with a huge frame. The image was processed to give a starking high contrast between the shiny and dull steel running around the pictures.

Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport was the main airport in Guangzhou, China, until August 5, 2004, when it was replaced by the identically named Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, some 17 kilometers away.

Wow, this is lovely.
Isn't it amazing to see what black & white can do to any image?
(Even makes me look younger, and more modelesque! ;))

Thanks Danette. It is really amazing that people used to rave about cameras that can capture colour and forgetting about the art of black and white.
